Indexing: Marilyn Rowland has over 30 years' experience in indexing, and has maintained a full-time indexing consulting business for the past 15 years. She has indexed a wide range of subject matters and types of publications and is proficient in Web indexing and embedded indexing as well as traditional back-of-the-book and periodical indexing. She is delighted to take on challenging projects and always happy to work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction. 
Subject Matter: Specialties include: computers and technology, science, health and medicine, history and current events, education and child/family development, visual and performing arts, political and social sciences, urban and environmental issues, business administration and management, and public and world affairs.
Indexing and Related Services: Back-of-the-book indexing, periodical indexing; embedded indexing; and Web site indexing. Index copy provided by e-mail, and on disk, and/or hard copy. 
Consulting services include review and editing of indexes compiled by others, including computer-generated indexes, teaching indexing and editorial services in the classroom and on an apprenticeship basis, and inserting glossary definitions, printer codes, and other special features. Abstracting and indexing of scientific and technical documents.
